Description
The men and women dealt with in this book are real people. The dialogue and the circumstances covered in this book are from firsthand accounts, journals, diaries, or letters, and as such adhere closely to what took place. These real people lived amazing lives, and it would take hundreds of pages to truly tell each one of these hero's stories. But we have attempted to show in limited space examples of courage that will hopefully inspire those who read this book.\It goes without saying that there are likely to be errors. For these the authors offer neither defense nor excuse, save that they have presented these heroes as faithfully as they could. \About the Author
Congressman Jim Ryun represents the second district of Kansas in Washington D.C. A three-time Olympic runner and a former world record holder in the mile, 1500 meters, and 880 yards, he has long been considered an American hero. They have four children and two grandchildren. \Jim Ryun
