Description
When Loren Cunningham traveled all the way from his home in California to remote villages in Africa, he was beginning to fulfill his longing to tell the whole world about God's love. Loren had a vision of waves of young people splashing up on every continent to spread the gospel and help the poor. Convinced that he could lead youth overseas, Loren began Youth With A Mission (YWAM), and today thousands of young people have joined him in his mission to spread the gospel throughout the world.\Now Heroes for Young Readers makes Loren Cunninigham's remarkable story available in this picture book all ages will treasure.\Renee Meloche is the author of the Heroes for Young Readers series, written to inspire children to dream big, stand tall for God, and be a hero. A graduate YWAM's School of Creative Ministries, Renee has worked as a missionary overseas. She served aboard the mercy ship, the Anastasis, where she first dreamed of writing true stories that would encourage children to discover the wonder and joy that awaits them when they live their lives for God.\Renee Meloche, Bryan Pollard (Heroes for Young Readers)
